Sectors::services
We are shifting from an economy based on physical inputs- land, capital, and labour-to an economy based on intellectual inputs, or human creativity. Therefore, services are ushering in a new era. In the sector of "Services", Western Greece has developed a combination of strength points and opportunities inducing to the development of the area. However, important sectors, such as health services, financial services, logistics, recreation services and transport services should be further advanced, in order to promote the regional development. In Italy, the sector of services includes a very large, differentiated and expanded number of mass activities. The expansion of this sector has followed a fast pace, making their cataloguing difficult, questioning the structure of the sector itself and complicating the picture for those that are used exclusively or prevailingly in agriculture and. more in general, in the entire agro-industrial system. The evolutions occurred in the economics and societies of developed countries, have led to the development of new services unknown in the past which express clear tendencies toward the acquisition of new products, new processes and new organizational models, but also towards the creation of new professional and entrepreneurial figures.
